Channel Management

BLIST
Command: !bans or !blist | /msg chanserv #channel blist
Allows you to view the ban list


CLIST
Command: !clist | /msg chanserv #channel clist
Allows you to view the co-ownerson the user list


MLIST
Command: !mlist | /msg chanserv #channel mlist
Allows you to view the masters on the user list.


OLIST
Command: !olist | /msg chanserv #channel olist
Allows you to view the ops on the user list.


PLIST
Command: !plist | /msg chanserv #channel plist
Allows you to view the peons on the user list.


EVENTS
Command: !events limit|pattern | /msg chanserv #channel events limit|pattern
Allows channel coowners to view a list of events related to their channel.
If a pattern is provided, only events with a matching description will be displayed.


DELNOTE
Command: !delnote note-name | /msg chanserv #channel delnote note-name
Deletes a note from the channel. To do this, you must be able to set the note.


INFO
Command: !info | /msg chanserv #channel info
This will list all the infomation for the channel.


INVITE
Command !invite | /msg chanserv #channel invite
This will allow you to invite yourself to a channel.


MODE
Command: !mode +ntm-i | /msg chanserv #channel mode +ntm-i
This allows you to change the mode in the channel.


NOTE
Command: !note (type) (note) | /msg chanserv #channel note (type) (note)
With no arguments, lists all visible notes on the specified channel.
With one argument, lists the note type you name (if it is visible to you).

OPEN
Command: !open | /msg chanserv #channel open
This command will make ChanServ remove all modes preventing a user from the specified channel, and remove all bans matching the users hostmask.
RESYNC
Command: !resync | /msg chanserv #channel resync
Synchronizes users in the channel with the userlist. This means that if the user can normally get ops, ChanServ makes sure the user has ops. Otherwise, if the user normally gets voice, ChanServ makes sure the user has voice but not ops. Otherwise, ChanServ makes sure the user has neither voice nor ops.
SET
Command: !set (parameter) (setting) | /msg chanserv #channel set (parameter) (setting)
  • DEFAULTTOPIC : This changes the default topic for the channel.
  • TOPICMASK : This sets a "masked topic" in the channel. For a more in-depth guide, explaining what TOPICMASK is, and how to properly set it, view the Topic Masking Guide.
    A user may set a topic if either topicmask or enftopic allow it.
  • GREETING : A greeting message for visitors to the channel.
  • USERGREETING : A greeting message for users on the channel's userlist.
  • MODES : Sets the channel default modes. Example: !set modes +nsti
  • PUBCMD : Restrictions to use commands in public.
    • 0 : Anyone may use public commands.
    • 100-199 : Peons and above may use public commands.
    • 200-299 : Ops and above may use public commands.
    • 300-399 : Masters and above may use public commands.
    • 400-499 : Co-owners and above may use public commands.
    • 500 : Owners may use public commands.
    • 501 : No one may use public commands.
  • ENFOPS : Restrictions for opping users.
    • 0 : Anyone may op unknown users.
    • 100-199 : Peon and above may op unknown users.
    • 200-299 : Op and above may op unknown users.
    • 300-399 : Master and above may op unknown users.
    • 400-499 : Co-owner may op unknown users.
    • 500 : Owner may op unknown users.
    • 501 : No one can op unkown users.
  • GIVEOPS : The users that ChanServ will autoop.
    • 0 : Everyone will be automatically op'ed
    • 100-199 : Peons and above will be automatically op'ed
    • 200-299 : Ops and above will be automatically op'ed
    • 300-399 : Masters and above will be automatically op'ed
    • 400-499 : Co-owners and above will be automatically op'ed
    • 500 : Owner will be automatically op'ed
    • 501 : No one will be automatically op'ed
  • GIVEVOICE : Allows you to get what level of access should be auto voiced.
    • 0 : All users are auto voiced
    • 100-199 : Peons or higher are voiced
    • 200-299 : Ops or higher are voiced
    • 300-399 : Masters or higher are voiced
    • 400-499 : Co-owner or higher are voiced
    • 500 : owner is voiced
    • 501 : No one is voiced
  • ENFMODES : Restrictions to change the default modes.
    • 0 : Anyone may override the mode lock
    • 100-199 : Peons and above may override the mode lock.
    • 200-299 : Ops and above may override the mode lock.
    • 300-399 : Masters and above may override the mode lock.
    • 400-499 : Co-owners and above may override the mode lock.
    • 500 : Owner override the mode lock.
    • 501 : Noone may override the mode lock.
  • ENFTOPIC : Restrictions on changing the topic.
    • 0 : Anyone may override the topic lock.
    • 100-199 : Peons and above may override the topic lock.
    • 200-299 : Ops and above may override the topic lock.
    • 300-399 : Masters and above may override the topic lock.
    • 400-499 : Coowners and above may override the topic lock.
    • 500 : Owners may override the topic lock.
    • 501 : No one may override the topic lock.
  • PROTECT : The protection level Chanserv provides
    • 0 : Non-users and users will be protected from those of equal or lower access.
    • 1 : Users will be protected from those of equal or lower access.
    • 2 : Users will be protected from those of lower access.
    • 3 : No users will be protected.
  • SETTERS : Who may change channel settings (using SET).
    • 200-299 : Ops and above
    • 300-399 : Masters and above
    • 400-499 : Coowners and above
    • 500 : Owner
  • TOPICREFRESH : Controls if (and how often) ChanServ will reset the topic.
    • 0 - Never refresh topic
    • 1 - Refresh every 3 hours
    • 2 - Refresh every 6 hours
    • 3 - Refresh every 12 hours
    • 4 - Refresh every 24 hours
  • DYNLIMIT : Adjusts user limit (+l channel mode) to prevent join floods.
    • 0 : off
    • 1 : on
  • TOPICSNARF : Topics set manually (by /TOPIC #channel ...) change default ChanServ topic
    • 0 : Anyone may override the topic.
    • 100-199 : Peons and above may override the topic.
    • 200-299 : Ops and above may override the topic.
    • 300-399 : Masters and above may override the topic.
    • 400-499 : Coowners and above may override the topic.
    • 500 : Owners may override the topic.
    • 501 : No one may override the topic.

SETINFO
Command: !setinfo (info) | /msg chanserv #channel setinfo (info)
Allows you to set an infoline , which is displayed when you join a channel. See Also: USET


TOPIC
Command: !topic (topic) | /msg chanserv #channel topic (topic)
Sets the current topic for the specified channel. If no topic is specified, then set the current topic to the default topic.


USERS
Command: !users | /msg chanserv #channel users
Lists all the users on the channel user list.
